
A TV legend is getting ready to play the Duchess of Windsor in a brand new show.
Dame Joan Collins took to Instagram to announce she’ll be starring as Wallis in a drama that will hit the small screen.
The actress also teased some possible new insights into the life of the Duchess of Windsor.
Dame Joan, 91, said the portrayal would focus on the ”untold story about her final years”.
The show is being filmed in London and Paris in the coming months.
The Duchess of Windsor lived her final years in Paris where she died in 1986 at the age of 89. She had been bedridden for several years and claims that she was exploited by those around her later emerged.
Dame Joan Collins has been a star of stage and screen for eight decades. Her most famous role remains that of Alexis Colby in Dynasty for which she won a Golden Globe.
